Town Hall Tweets

UBC President and Vice-Chancellor Arvind Gupta cleared off his desk, picked up the keyboard, and started tweeting, thus opening wide the virtual door to the UBC community and launching his first ever Twitter Town Hall.

Via the #AskArvind hashtag, people were asked to think on the significance of 2015 and what will be UBC’s centenary, speculate on what’s in store in the years ahead, tweet their thoughts and pose questions to Gupta. The event saw a spike in online engagement both from the President’s Office and from the UBC community.
